Department of Health Services must award grants to 10 counties to fund economic support specialist positions in Aging and Disability Resource Centers (ADRCs)

$1,000,000 appropriated for fiscal year 2025-26 to fund the grant program

Six grants must be distributed with preference to 2 rural, 2 suburban, and 2 urban counties; remaining 4 grants awarded at DHS discretion

If funding remains after awarding 10 grants, DHS may award a grant to an 11th county

Grant recipients must submit effectiveness reports to DHS and the legislature within one year of receiving funds, including estimated number of individuals served
