Amends Article I, Section 25 of the Wisconsin Constitution to remove the listed purposes for keeping and bearing arms (security, defense, hunting, recreation, or any other lawful purpose) and instead guarantee the right without qualification

Declares the right to keep and bear arms an "inalienable" and "fundamental individual right" that "shall never be infringed"

Requires any restriction on the right to keep and bear arms to be subject to strict scrutiny, the highest standard of judicial review requiring a compelling state interest, narrow tailoring, and no less restrictive alternative

First consideration proposal introduced October 30, 2025; must be adopted by two successive legislatures and ratified by voters before taking effect
