Creates Section 1m of Article III of the Wisconsin Constitution requiring voters to present valid photographic identification to cast a ballot in any election

Acceptable photo IDs must be issued by: Wisconsin, the federal government, a federally recognized American Indian tribe or band in Wisconsin, or a Wisconsin college or university

Voters unable to present valid photo ID on election day may cast a provisional ballot, which will only be counted if the voter presents valid ID at a later time and place specified by law

Legislature is authorized to establish acceptable forms of photo ID and may create exceptions to the requirement

Amendment will be submitted to voters for ratification on the first Tuesday of April 2025 (this is the second legislative consideration, following initial approval in 2023)
