Wisconsin Legislature honors Representative Terrence A. "Terry" Willkom, who passed away on May 16, 2025, at age 82 in Eau Claire, Wisconsin

Willkom served in the Wisconsin Assembly from 1971 to 1976 and became one of the youngest majority leaders ever elected at age 32, serving in that role from 1975 to 1976

First known Wisconsin legislator to move his family to Madison during the school week to balance legislative duties with family responsibilities

Held extensive government and business positions including Deputy Secretary of Health and Social Services (1977-1981), Director of Northern Center for the Developmentally Disabled (1984-1989), and President/COO of Cray Computer (1990)

Resolution extends condolences to his family and recognizes his reputation for honesty, integrity, and bipartisan cooperation
