First violation is a misdemeanor punishable by up to six months imprisonment

Second or subsequent violations constitute a felony punishable by one to five years imprisonment

Requires parent-teacher conferences involving parents or guardians on the sex offender database to be conducted off school property at the county courthouse, local police department, or sheriff's office
