Prohibits schools and government entities from withholding information about a minor child's health, well-being, or education from parents while the child is in school custody

Allows parents to raise the act as a legal defense and seek injunctive relief in circuit court against violations, while clarifying the law does not authorize child abuse, neglect, or interference with lawful court orders and child welfare actions
