Requires all overpayments to programs administered by the Bureau for Medical Services to bear interest at the rate established under §56-6-31(b)

Defines "overpayment" as any amount paid for program participation that exceeds what is allowable for goods or services provided

Interest accrues from the date an overpayment determination is finalized until the balance (including accrued interest) is fully resolved

Interest is calculated annually on the unpaid balance using the applicable rate for each year or partial year

Collected interest is retained by the fund from which the original overpayment was made
