Extends the statute of limitations for minors to file medical malpractice claims, raising the age threshold from under 10 years to under 18 years at time of injury

Allows minors injured before age 18 to file claims until their 20th birthday (previously 12th birthday), or within two years of injury, whichever is longer

Maintains the existing two-year statute of limitations for general medical professional liability claims against most health care providers, with a 10-year maximum cap

Preserves the one-year statute of limitations for claims against nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing care facilities
