Requires alternate signatories for county treasury expenditures when two or more of the county commission president, sheriff, and county clerk are "family or household members" as defined in state domestic violence law

County commission must designate another commissioner who is not a family member of other signatories to sign in place of the president when a conflict exists

Chief tax deputy signs in place of the sheriff when the sheriff is a family member of another signatory; if the chief tax deputy also has a conflict, the county commission appoints a county resident as substitute

County clerk position is not subject to substitution under the alternate signatory provisions

Effective July 8, 2025 (90 days from passage on April 9, 2025)
