Aide II and Aide V special education aides in self-contained classrooms will have their pay matched to Early Childhood Classroom Assistant Teachers, plus receive an additional 5% raise on top of that salary grade

Special education teachers in self-contained classrooms will receive a 10% pay increase in addition to their current salary grade

Defines "critical vacancy" as a position that must be filled to maintain student success, safety, and meet required compliance and certification standards

Requires county board staff who hold certification in a critical vacancy's subject area to fill that classroom position temporarily until a permanent hire is made

Allows county boards to offer one-time financial incentives such as signing bonuses or moving expenses from local funds to recruit teachers in critical needs areas
