Increases maximum fees sheriffs may charge for serving orders, notices, summons, subpoenas, attachments, writs of possession, and other legal processes from $25.00 to $30.00 per service

Clarifies that county sheriffs shall not owe fees to another sheriff's department or law enforcement agency for completing requested service of legal documents

Increases the portion of each service fee deposited into the West Virginia Deputy Sheriff Retirement Fund from $2 to $5

Maintains the $3 portion of each fee that goes to the county commission's general revenue account

County commissions retain authority to set actual fee amounts charged, up to the new statutory maximums
