Authorizes the use of drones (UAS/UAV) equipped with thermal imaging, night vision, or infrared devices to locate and recover wounded or killed big game including black bear, deer, elk, and turkey

Requires drone operators to obtain permission from public or private landowners before launching or landing on their property; does not authorize trespassing

Prohibits anyone from possessing or controlling firearms, bows, or other hunting implements while a drone is in flight, except for concealed carry weapons not used for hunting

Prohibits using drones to harass wildlife, defined as disturbing, chasing, driving, or tormenting animals; wildlife harassed by drones cannot be legally pursued or taken

Exempts drone operators assisting with big game recovery from hunting license requirements, provided they are not the person who harvested the animal
