Establishes a full-time, permanent Dementia Services Director position within the West Virginia Department of Health

Director responsibilities include coordinating implementation of the State Alzheimer's Disease and Other Dementia Plan and evaluating coordination of dementia services statewide

Director must identify duplicated services, seek grant opportunities to expand services for persons with dementia and their caregivers, and recommend strategies to improve access to dementia-related resources

Requires the Director to support dementia-specific staff training across state agencies, collect and monitor dementia-related data, and promote public awareness and education

Director must compile an annual report posted on the Department's website covering state plan implementation status, grant funding, and office deliverables

Effective July 10, 2025 (90 days from passage on April 12, 2025)
