Amends §17C-15-44 of the West Virginia Code to allow motorcycle, motor-driven cycle, or moped operators to stand astride the vehicle with both feet on footpegs or pedals while facing forward, as an alternative to sitting on the operator's seat

Maintains existing safety requirements including mandatory protective helmets meeting ANSI Z 90.1, DOT FMVS No. 218, or Snell Safety Standards for all motorcycle and motor-driven cycle operators and passengers

Requires safety eyewear (shatter-resistant glasses, goggles, or face shields) meeting ANSI standards for all operators and passengers

Prohibits handlebars or grips positioned more than 15 inches higher than the uppermost part of the operator's seat

Passed April 10, 2025, with an effective date of July 9, 2025 (90 days from passage)
