Increases the maximum fine for first offense contempt of court in magistrate court from $50 to $100 and adds authority to order community service

Raises the maximum fine for second offense contempt (pertaining to the same matter) from $100 to $250 and adds community service requirement

Increases third or subsequent offense penalties from a maximum $100 fine to $500, and doubles maximum jail time from 10 days to 20 days

Defines punishable contempt acts to include contemptuous behavior toward the magistrate, breaches of peace, violence or threats toward court participants, officer misbehavior, and willful resistance to court orders

Adds gender-neutral language ("or her") to existing statutory text regarding officer conduct
