Requires county boards of canvassers to electronically transmit the total ballots cast, counted, and rejected to the Secretary of State on a prescribed form immediately following each board's public declaration of election results

Applies specifically to elections where a candidate appears on the ballot in more than one county

Changes "shall not" to "may not" regarding the 48-hour waiting period before certifying election results for candidates appearing entirely within one county

Maintains existing procedures for election canvassing, recounts, and recordkeeping while adding the electronic reporting requirement to improve coordination between counties and the Secretary of State
