Female inmates in state jails, penal, and correctional facilities must receive free tampons and sanitary napkins upon request within 8 hours

Female juveniles in Division of Juvenile Services custody must also receive free feminine hygiene products within 8 hours of request

Inmates may choose between tampons and sanitary napkins at no cost

Amends three code sections: §15A-4-13 (corrections management), §28-5C-3 (new section for female felons), and §49-2-906 (juvenile detention)
