Public entities accepting bids on construction or other contracts using taxpayer funds must notify in writing every municipality and county where the contractor or subcontractors will perform services

Written notification must be provided within seven days of bid acceptance and include a description of services, contractor identity, contact information, and approximate service timeline

Municipalities and counties receiving notification must publish the contract terms with a 30-day public comment period

Applies to all public contracts where taxpayer funds are used, not limited to construction contracts
