Requires licensed contractors to provide a written contract for all residential property work, regardless of the project's value (currently only required for projects $10,000 or more)

Written contracts for residential work must include the contractor's name, address, telephone number, license issue and expiration dates, and bonding status

Contractors must provide names of previous clients for whom they performed similar work if requested by the homeowner or lessee

Existing requirement remains that projects valued at $10,000 or more for non-residential work must have written contracts describing the work and cost
