Prohibits local zoning ordinances from requiring larger minimum lot sizes for parcels containing accessory dwelling units (ADUs) than what is required for other single-family dwellings or townhouses in the same zoning district

Amends West Virginia Code §8A-7-2 governing the contents of municipal zoning ordinances

Adds a new subsection (d) to the existing zoning ordinance requirements while leaving all other zoning authority intact

Effectively prevents municipalities from using minimum lot size requirements as a barrier to accessory dwelling unit construction
