Expands eligibility for criminal record expungement to include individuals who plead guilty and are convicted of qualifying misdemeanors after successfully completing pre-trial diversion or deferred adjudication programs

Allows expungement of both the original dismissed charges and any resulting misdemeanor conviction when they arise from the same transaction or occurrence

Maintains existing exclusions: domestic violence offenses against family/household members cannot be expunged, and individuals with prior felony convictions remain ineligible for expungement

Requires courts to inform defendants of their expungement rights when entering misdemeanor convictions following diversion or deferred adjudication completion

Preserves the 60-day waiting period after court orders before filing expungement petitions, with no filing fees or costs assessed
