Allows teachers to use personal leave without cause on consecutive work days if they provide 14 days advance notice, removing the previous requirement for principal or supervisor approval for consecutive days

Requires teachers to arrange for classroom coverage by a substitute at least seven days prior to taking personal leave without cause

Eliminates the provision that allowed principals or supervisors to deny leave requests when 15% or more of employees (or three employees, whichever is greater) had already requested the same day off

Maintains existing requirements for non-consecutive leave days, including 24-hour advance notice to principals or supervisors, with exceptions for sudden and unexpected circumstances
