Bars and private clubs licensed under §60-7-1 may purchase liquor directly from distilleries or mini-distilleries if located within 10 miles of the distillery where the liquor was manufactured

Direct sales from distilleries to nearby bars are subject to a 5% wholesale markup fee and 80 cents per case bailment fee paid to the commissioner

Distilleries, mini-distilleries, and micro-distilleries remain limited to producing no more than 50,000 gallons of liquor per calendar year

The bill updates terminology throughout to clarify "complimentary" samples and makes technical corrections to existing distillery licensing provisions
