Allows county sheriffs who are members of the West Virginia Public Employees Retirement System to retire at age 62 with only 8 years of contributing service

Creates a special retirement eligibility provision specifically for elected sheriffs who do not participate in another retirement system administered by the retirement board

Standard retirement eligibility for members who joined after July 1, 2015 requires age 62 with 10 years of contributing service; this bill reduces the service requirement by 2 years for sheriffs

Amends §5-10-20 of the West Virginia Code regarding voluntary retirement provisions
