Allows individuals convicted of misdemeanor sexual abuse in the third degree to petition for removal from the sex offender registry after completing their sentence and waiting at least 10 years after release

Petitioners must submit a risk assessment prepared by a qualified psychiatrist or psychologist at their own expense

Courts may grant removal if the offender has no subsequent convictions for felonies, misdemeanors, sex offenses, or crimes against children, has completed supervised release/probation/parole, and has finished a sex offender treatment program

Requires the court to notify and allow testimony from the prosecuting attorney, victim advocate, and victim or victim's family before granting any petition

If a petition is denied, the offender must wait 10 years before filing another petition
