Requires all public high schools in West Virginia, including public charter schools, to provide support and assistance to students and their parents/guardians to file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) beginning with the 2025-2026 school year

Allows students or parents to opt out by signing a form acknowledging they understand what FAFSA is and the opportunities it provides, but have chosen not to file

Mandates the State Board of Education adopt rules ensuring compliance with federal student privacy laws (FERPA) and state privacy requirements

Requires schools to delete all personal or identifiable data collected for FAFSA purposes within one year, except as otherwise required by law

Amends public charter school statute to explicitly include FAFSA requirements among the state laws that charter schools must follow
