Convenes both houses of the West Virginia Legislature in Joint Assembly in the Hall of the House of Delegates at 1:30 p.m. on January 8, 2024

Authorizes the Speaker of the House of Delegates to open and publish the official election returns from the November 5, 2024 general election

Fulfills the constitutional requirement under Section 3, Article VII of the West Virginia Constitution for certifying statewide election results

Requires the Senate to be present while the Speaker opens and publishes the election returns
