Sgt. Clinton "Randy" Dean served with the 101st Airborne Division and 82nd Artillery Division in Vietnam from June 1967 to January 1968, when his tour ended due to shrapnel wounds to his leg

Dean received multiple military honors including the Purple Heart, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Republic of Vietnam Gallantry Cross with Palm Ribbon, and Army Meritorious Unit Commendation

Dean passed away on January 16, 2001, from lung cancer caused by Agent Orange exposure during his Vietnam service

Requires the Division of Highways to erect signs with bold and prominent letters identifying the renamed bridge
