Roy Lee Hill was born April 5, 1914, and served in the U.S. Army beginning May 18, 1945, in the Pacific theatre during and after World War II

PFC Hill received the World War II Victory Medal and Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal for his military service

Hill worked as a farmer, including on a neighbor's dairy farm and growing tobacco, and died December 12, 1978

Directs the Division of Highways to place signs identifying the memorial bridge and requires the House Clerk to forward the resolution to the Division of Highways Commissioner
