Requests the Division of Highways name a one-mile portion of State Route 16 in Fayette County, beginning at the northern city limits of Gauley Bridge, as the "U.S. Navy S1c Guy Harlow Waugh Memorial Road"

Guy Harlow Waugh was born April 13, 1925, in Marting, West Virginia, and served in the U.S. Navy from November 2, 1943, to January 19, 1946

S1c Waugh earned the American Campaign Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Campaign Medal, and World War II Victory Medal during his service

After military service, Waugh served as Mayor of Gauley Bridge and continued community service until his death on March 31, 2007

Directs the Division of Highways to place memorial signs at both ends of the designated road section
