Requests the Division of Highways name a planned bridge in Kanawha County carrying Jefferson Road (County Route 601) over Kanawha Boulevard and Davis Creek as the "U.S. Army 2nd Lt Darwin Keith 'Gus' Kyle Memorial Bridge—a Medal of Honor Recipient"

Honors Darwin Keith "Gus" Kyle, born June 1, 1921, who served in both World War II (earning Silver Star and Bronze Star) and the Korean War as an infantryman from South Charleston, West Virginia

Kyle received a battlefield commission to 2nd Lieutenant on January 27, 1951, after heroically rescuing wounded soldiers during the Hungnam Evacuation on Christmas Eve 1950

Kyle was killed on February 15, 1951, near Suwon, South Korea, after single-handedly charging a Chinese gun position and killing seven enemy soldiers to save his unit

Kyle was posthumously awarded the Medal of Honor; the bridge signage will include a Medal of Honor symbol after his name
