WV HJR30

Proposes a constitutional amendment to limit the Secretary of State, State Auditor, State Treasurer, Attorney General, and Commissioner of Agriculture to a maximum of three consecutive terms in the same office

Term limits would apply only to terms beginning after January 1, 2029; any service before that date would not count toward the three-term limit

Requires the amendment to be placed on the ballot for voter ratification at the 2026 general election

Designates the proposal as "Amendment No. 1" with the official name "Constitutional Officer Term Limit Amendment"

Maintains existing two-term limit for Governor while extending term limit provisions to five other statewide constitutional offices
