Pharmacy registration with the West Virginia Board of Pharmacy changes from annual renewal to biennial (every two years) renewal

Pharmacies, ambulatory health care facilities, and charitable clinic pharmacies must register with the board and designate a pharmacist-in-charge

Each pharmacy location requires a separate application and registration, and registrations are non-transferable

If a registration expires, the pharmacy must undergo reinspection and pay an inspection fee before resuming operations

Effective date is June 12, 2025 (90 days from passage on March 14, 2025)
