Classifies nine synthetic food dyes and additives as adulterated substances injurious to health, including butylated hydroxyanisole, propylparaben, and FD&C Blue No. 1, Blue No. 2, Green No. 3, Red No. 3, Red No. 40, Yellow No. 5, and Yellow No. 6

Prohibits seven artificial dyes (Red No. 3, Red No. 40, Yellow No. 5, Yellow No. 6, Blue No. 1, Blue No. 2, and Green No. 3) from being used as ingredients in any school nutrition program meals, effective August 1, 2025

Allows schools to sell non-compliant food items during fundraising events if sales occur off school premises or on premises at least 30 minutes after the school day ends

The general food adulteration provisions under the Pure Food and Drugs law take effect January 1, 2027, while school nutrition restrictions take effect August 1, 2025
