Adds new provision establishing that disclosure of documents, materials, communications, or information to the Insurance Commissioner during any type of market conduct examination does not waive any applicable privilege or claim of confidentiality

Subsequent sharing of examination materials by the Commissioner also does not waive privilege or confidentiality protections that apply to those documents

Adopts National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) model language to clarify confidentiality protections for entities subject to insurance examinations

Makes technical updates throughout the statute, replacing outdated phrasing (e.g., "shall" to "may," "must" to "shall") without changing substantive requirements
