Prohibits contracts from excluding, modifying, or limiting any express or implied warranties or any legal remedies for breach of warranty, declaring any such attempted limitations void

Requires arbitration or alternative dispute resolution proceedings to be held within 50 miles of the residence and mandates such provisions be conspicuously displayed in bold, capitalized text in the contract

Adds failure to offer compliant contracts or remedy construction defects as grounds for disciplinary action by the Contractor Licensing Board, which can impose penalties including license suspension, revocation, or fines up to $1,000
