Expands West Virginia Invests Grant Program eligibility to allow individuals who already hold a post-secondary degree to qualify if they are pursuing an associate degree or certificate in emergency medical services

Current program requirements remain unchanged for other applicants, including West Virginia residency for at least one year, completion of secondary education, and enrollment in at least six credit hours per semester

Grant recipients must complete at least eight hours of unpaid community service, maintain a 2.0 GPA, pass drug testing, and reside in West Virginia for two years after obtaining their degree or certificate to avoid repayment

Recipients who move out of state within two years of completing their program must repay the grant amount plus interest and applicable collection fees
