Declarations must include detailed information such as unit name, API well numbers, plat with latitude/longitude coordinates, and for each parcel: original lessor/lessee names, lease dates, recording information, gross and net acreage, and percentage contribution to the pooled unit

When a wellbore penetrates multiple units, additional information is required including completion dates, horizontal wellbore lengths, perforation percentages, and production allocation factors between affected units

Operators must provide acreage calculation data to lessors or royalty owners within 60 days of a written request

Lessors or royalty owners may demand compliance via certified mail if operators fail to meet requirements, and may file a civil action to recover attorney fees and court costs if non-compliance is not cured within 60 days
