Maintains annual inspection requirements for commercial motor vehicles subject to federal motor carrier safety administration regulations, with inspection fees not exceeding $14 (including $3 sticker cost)

Repeals nine existing code sections governing the previous inspection system for non-commercial vehicles while establishing a new article specifically for commercial vehicle inspections

Commercial motor vehicles covered include those with gross weight of 10,001+ pounds, vehicles designed for 9+ passengers for compensation, 16+ passenger vehicles, or vehicles transporting placarded hazardous materials
