Mandates screening of all incoming and currently incarcerated individuals for brain injury by July 1, 2027

Screening processes must be designed with input from the study group established under §27-6A-12 (related to competency and criminal responsibility)

Requires the Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Division of Rehabilitation Services, and Department of Veterans Assistance to enter a memorandum of understanding allowing sharing of confidential health records for the study group's purposes
