Requires office-based medication-assisted treatment facilities to perform a comprehensive, quantitative, direct observation drug test upon patient admission to a drug program

Mandates direct observation, quantitative drug testing every two weeks for the first six weeks after admission

Requires direct observation, qualitative or quantitative drug testing every 45 days during the remainder of the first year of treatment

After the first year, patients must undergo direct observation drug testing every six months until discharge from the program

Providers may request additional direct observation drug tests at any point to assess patient compliance
