Honors Ronald Lucas, who enlisted in the Air Force on September 26, 1967, during the Vietnam War and was honorably discharged as a Staff Sergeant on November 24, 1971, after more than four years of service

Ronald Lucas attended Marshall University on the G.I. Bill after military service and earned an accounting degree, later operating a grocery store and belonging to the Veterans of Foreign Wars

Ronald Lucas was instrumental in originally getting his father Donald Lucas's name placed on the bridge sign; he passed away on September 10, 2022

Directs the Division of Highways to install signs with the new memorial bridge name and forward a copy of the resolution to the Commissioner of the Division of Highways
