Memorializes Janie Lou White, who passed away on January 31, 2025, and served as Executive Director of the Preston County Senior Citizens Program for 34 years

White held a master's degree in gerontology from the University of California and previously worked at Preston Memorial Hospital

She was active in community organizations including the Alzheimer's Support group, Family Caring Council, Friends through Cancer, and volunteered at the Buckwheat Festival

White is survived by two daughters, Ashley White and Janelle Brown, along with siblings and extended family

The Senate extends condolences to her family and directs the Clerk to forward a copy of the resolution to them
