Designates March 14, 2025, as Suicide Prevention Awareness Day at the West Virginia Legislature

Highlights that suicide is the 10th leading cause of death in West Virginia and the 2nd leading cause for individuals ages 10-34

Notes that 71% of West Virginia suicide deaths involve firearms, with approximately 18.3 suicides per 100,000 residents

Recognizes that over 90% of people who die by suicide have a diagnosable and treatable mental health condition that often goes unrecognized

Directs the Clerk to forward a copy of the resolution to the West Virginia Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
