Recognizes the Energy Council on the occasion of its 50th anniversary

Acknowledges the Energy Council was established in 1975 as a nonpartisan forum for legislators from Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico to collaborate on energy policy

Notes the organization has expanded to include 14 member states and the Canadian Provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan

Commends the Energy Council for 50 years of informing lawmakers about economic markets, emerging technology, and energy policy development

Directs the Senate Clerk to forward a certified copy of the resolution to the Energy Council
