Designates May 8, 2025, as World Red Cross Day and Red Crescent Day at the West Virginia Legislature

Honors American Red Cross founder Clara Barton and volunteers in the Central Appalachia Region who provide disaster relief, blood collection, military family support, and lifesaving training

Highlights 2024 Red Cross achievements in West Virginia: assisted nearly 900 disaster-affected families, collected nearly 40,000 units of blood at approximately 1,700 blood drives, trained over 20,000 people, and supported nearly 80 military members and veterans

Directs the Senate Clerk to send a copy of the resolution to Krista Farley Raines, Regional Communications Director for the American Red Cross Central Appalachian Region
