Requires PEIA and other health insurers to reimburse licensed mental health practitioners (psychologists, counselors, social workers, marriage and family therapists) at the same rate as physicians for the same mental health services

Applies to practitioners licensed under West Virginia Code sections covering psychologists (§30-7-7), counselors (§30-21-8), psychologists (§30-30-8, §30-30-10, §30-30-12), and social workers (§30-31-8, §30-31-9)

Claims must be submitted with appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes, the practitioner's name and national provider identifier, and facility information if required by the insurer

Prohibits insurers from reducing reimbursement rates paid to licensed physicians in order to comply with the payment parity requirements

Effective date of July 1, 2027 for all changes made to PEIA (Chapter 5) and insurance provisions (Chapter 33)
