Extends the statute of limitations for medical malpractice claims related to gender transition services to 20 years from the time of discovery of injury, compared to the standard 2-year limit for other medical malpractice claims

Revives previously time-barred causes of action related to gender reassignment surgery, gender altering medication, or other gender transition services, allowing claims that were previously expired to be brought forward

Declares any waiver of liability signed by patients receiving gender transition services to be null, void, and unenforceable as contrary to public policy

Exempts malpractice claims related to gender transition services from standard Medical Professional Liability Act requirements, including pre-suit screening certificate requirements under §55-7B-6 and §55-7B-8

Expands damages recoverable under existing law prohibiting gender transition procedures for minors to include all costs for subsequent procedures, therapies, prescriptions, or treatments related to effects of prior surgery or prescriptions
