Allows students transferring between 8th and 10th grade to retain athletic eligibility without sitting out a year if the transfer occurs before the 30th day of the school year or by June 15th of specific grade years

Requires incoming 9th graders to have either a 2.0 GPA or no failing grades in 8th grade to participate in secondary school athletics, effective for the 2026-2027 school year

Grants the West Virginia Secondary School Activities Commission authority to revoke coaching credentials for coaches found guilty of illegally recruiting student athletes

Transfers after June 15th of 11th grade or during 12th grade require WVSSAC approval to maintain athletic eligibility

Students may transfer back to their home residence school by June 15th of 9th or 10th grade year without losing athletic eligibility
