Requires Medicaid and health maintenance organizations (HMOs) to cover medically necessary diagnosis and treatment of Pediatric Acute-Onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS) and Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcal Infections (PANDAS)

Covered services include diagnostic testing, pharmaceutical treatments (antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory therapies), immune-modulating therapies, and behavioral, psychiatric, and rehabilitative services

Prohibits insurers from denying or limiting coverage solely because the disorder presents with behavioral or psychiatric symptoms, requiring compliance with mental health parity laws

Mandates the Bureau for Public Health to educate Medicaid providers on recognizing PANS/PANDAS symptoms, including acute-onset obsessive compulsive disorder, tics, and association with strep infections in children ages three through puberty

Authorizes the Department of Human Services to propose rules to implement the coverage requirements
